Next start: April 2025

This training consists of three seminars, comprises 64 teaching units (TU) and runs from April - May 2025.

The training is aimed at yoga teachers, experienced yoga practitioners, educators and teachers, as well as anyone interested in experiencing, organising and teaching yoga with children.

The lessons are designed in a playful way for children. Their great imagination makes them receptive to yoga exercises that are guided by pictures and stories. They laugh and talk a lot and try out new ideas straight away. Many quiet and mindful moments are created through their way of concentrating. The children in my courses always show me their wisdom and strengths. It is important to me that these potentials remain awake and preserved in them.

As a participant, the most important prerequisite for taking part in the children's yoga training is the desire to offer, organise and teach yoga with children.
Furthermore, it would be desirable to have your own yoga experience. Yoga is an experiential science. We experience what yoga does to us through our own practice. This is a kind of inner source for our own teaching. We teach something that we have experienced ourselves, how it affects us and what it is all about.

You may be wondering how the joy of movement, curiosity and possible restlessness of children can be reconciled with a yoga session. I don't have a patent remedy for this. But I do have a wealth of experience gained since 2005, which I am happy to pass on. The children's ideas for movement, which develop through their joy of movement, can be incorporated wonderfully into the yoga session. It is their enjoyment of new things and play that gives children's yoga its special vitality. And for any restlessness or other difficulties, we need patience in the knowledge that growing up takes time. In my opinion, the key to everything is our heartfelt desire to offer children's yoga. This paves the way for a lot of things together.

You will receive comprehensive handouts on the theoretical topics and practical yoga sessions. These are provided with child-friendly asana illustrations. At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate of attendance for 64 teaching units and a certificate detailing the content of the training.
